The Ontario Prayer Breakfast is an annual event for the Christian community to gather together to support our provincial and municipal representatives in prayer and demonstrate our authentic encouragement and support for our political leadership.
Erin Willson is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Toronto studying abuse in sport. Her passion for this topic began while she was an artistic swimmer training for the 2012 London Olympic Games when she experienced emotional abuse, neglect, and intense body shaming. Following this experience, she began her journey in researching abuse in sport which has included a focus on emotional abuse, Canadian athletes’ experiences of abuse, and prevention/intervention initiatives. Her work has also expanded as an advocate, and she was recently appointed the President of AthletesCAN, a formal advocacy organization focusing on the rights of Canadian athletes.
Christopher Gordon is a Partner in the People Advisory Practice of Ernst & Young, where his primary focus is leading diverse teams, across multiple geographies. As leader of EY Canada’s Global Immigration Practice, Chris’ remit spans over 130 countries. Chris has advised and serves some of the largest Canadian, global and Fortune100 corporations. Chris currently serves on the Board of the Canadian Employee Relocation Counsel as Chair of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. Chris also serves as the executive sponsor of the EY Black Professionals Network, is a member of the EY Americas Inclusion Advisory Council, the EY Canada Inclusion Advisory Council, and EY Canada’s Environment, Sustainability and Governance Network. In addition, he is Co-Director of EY’s Entrepreneurial Access Network, which is an accelerator program focused on helping high potential/performing Black Indigenous People of Colour (BIPOC) founders scale their businesses.
